ActivitiesBack to Guide

No need to be bored whilst on holiday in Tenerife, there are many activities to be had. All the information you need can be found at the Local Tourism Office or your Hotel Reception:

Water Sports- Include surfing, snorkelling, diving, sea fishing, sailing, parascending and jet skiing.

Boat Trips - To see the Whales and Dolphins: Tenerife is one of the best areas to see them in Europe as there are colonies of pilot whales and dolphins which remain here throughout the year.

Bike Riding - Push bikes can be hired on a daily basis. Alternatively you can join a group with a guide that transports you up into the mountains and then you cycle down, a great way to see the island.

Walking/ Hiking- There are numerous groups/clubs on the Island and the local government has gone to great trouble to mark out walking paths of all grades all over the island, many of them along the ancient tracks. They are well signed and tell you the distance as well as the difficulty level. Walking is a great way to view some fantastic scenery, as well as learn a little about the history of the island.

Other activities include paragliding, rock climbing, quad biking and go kart tracks.
