If your idea of a perfect holiday to Tenerife is one where you can take in the sights during the day, enjoying a little shopping or lazing on the beach, then heading out into town to dance the night away, you won’t be disappointed. Most British holidaymakers base themselves in the hotels and resort to the south of the island, where you’ll find Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos, possibly the two best known resorts. As you’d imagine, getting out an about in Playa de las Americas ensures you’ll find a party atmosphere, with themed club nights and international DJ providing entertainment through to the wee hours of the morning. There’s something for everyone, whether you’re looking for a late tapas snack and a few drinks or you want to hit the high life and dance till dawn. Most late bars and night clubs are found in three main areas: The Patch, Starco and Veronica Strip. Tramps Tenerife, a popular nightclub is situated in Starco, but both The Patch and Starco have lot of bars where you’ll find plenty of fun and drinks promotions to get you in the party mood. There are many clubs in Veronica Strip, offering different kinds of music and dancing, with DJs keeping the fun going until the break of day. If you’re staying in Los Cristianos, visit the area known as SanTelmo, where you’ll also find a vibrant night life. Up in the northern area of the island, the nightlife is more Spanish in nature. Around Santa Cruz de Tenerife, you’ll find there’s plenty of fun to be had, but as is typical in Spanish culture they don’t start as early as we tend to, so most bars don’t liven up until quite late. The nightlife isn’t as wild as that in the southern resorts, but there is plenty of dancing and outdoor bars with a fun, entertaining atmosphere. If you’re feeling lucky, you could also try your hand at the casino. Here are some clubs or bars you could try: Veronica Strip: Sugareef Tenerife Terrace and Club where they have themed parties as the weekend and dance, hip hop and R&B through the week. Starco: Tramps Tenerife where the best international DJs entertain. Themed parties are hosted every day with dance and R&B. Open from 9pm to 6am. Santa Cruz de Tenerife: A Suade is a club with themed nights and live music open from 10pm till late. There’s never a dull moment on a holiday to Tenerife, where you’ll find all the opportunities to party that you can handle. There are plenty of clubs and bars, so you need never visit the same one twice.
